For the best stitching results, I like to use the same colour thread on the front and back of your quilt, in a shade that closely matches your fabrics.

For quilt tops with lots of different colours, I will suggest a thread that provides a consistent subtle contrast across most of the fabrics. This ensures the quilting sinks into the background, complements your quilt and does not distract from the quilt pattern.

The cost of thread is now included in the quilting costs however, there may be an additional charge for very dense quilting or if more than one thread colour is used.
