The batting you choose is a personal choice based on the look and feel you would like for your finished quilt. A good quality batting that is uniform in thickness provides the best quilting results. I recommend Matilda's Own batting however, you may prefer to supply your own.

The most cost-effective way is to purchase the exact amount of batting by the metre (8 inches wider and longer than your quilt top). I have a number of batting options currently in stock. If you have any questions about the weight, loft and drape of the batting please do not hesitate to ask.
